Our Board of Directors consists of First Nations people who volunteer their time towards achieving the mandate and Goals of our organisation. They are nominated by the First Nations Central Interior Communities, Agencies and Organizations.
Our Directors are selected for their experience, training and skills in business, community economic development, management and administration. They all live and work in our communities and represent our geographical areas and the variety of sectors with in this geographical boundary.
The Board of Directors is responsible for planning, implementing and directing all of the activities undertaken by our organisation. They make the right decision by consensus and set organizational direction through community consultation. They are a dedicated, effective unit of volunteers working towards a viable economic future within our community.
Communities are people with goals, visions and values, so it is a place for developing communities. This is the recognition that makes CFDC a success. CFDC partner with all levels of government: Federal, Provincial, Municipal, Tribal and Bands. We partner with businesses small or large.
Most important we partner with people. We respond to the needs of their communities. Volunteers who live and work in their communities do this. Our next door neighbours are our clients.
Volunteers: The CFDC of Central Interior First Nations utilizes volunteers in our training programs and as Mentors. These people represent business, resources, government and clients. There are approximately 50 volunteers who help us to achieve our objectives.

The CFDC of Central Interior First Nations applauds the success of our clients. We firmly believe that business is the future for many First Nations individuals who are demonstrating that their visions and goals can be reached when you are willing to take risks and work hard towards achieving them. We are stepping into a 'new reality for First Nations. It is our future. This is positive way to greet the new century!
